Miami weather today is sunny and 83°F with southeast winds 6 to 10 mph—a gorgeous spring day that’s calling you outside. The National Weather Service says we’re sitting under high pressure just offshore in the western Atlantic, which means mostly dry conditions will stick around through Thursday. There’s only a 4% chance of rain today, so you can plan your activities with confidence.

If you’re heading to the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix at the Miami International Autodrome on Friday, May 1st, you’re in luck—mostly sunny skies and 85°F with light southwest winds make for ideal racing weather. The same goes for Saturday’s Inter Miami CF vs Orlando City SC matchup at Inter Miami Stadium on May 2nd. Grab Get tickets on SeatGeek or Find tickets on StubHub, and pick up some Official team gear on Fanatics to show your support. For tailgating, a pop-up canopy tent with weights will keep the sun off while you prep, and a portable propane grill is perfect for cooking before kickoff.

Tonight’s low around 75°F with partly cloudy skies means concerts and outdoor events will be comfortable. If you’re catching Florence + The Machine’s Everybody Scream Tour at the Kaseya Center tonight, you’ll want to grab a Florence + The Machine t-shirt and apply SPF 50 sunscreen before heading out—that evening sun can still catch you off guard. For the Guns N’ Roses official Formula 1 concert at Hard Rock Live on Thursday, April 30th, Get tickets on SeatGeek for a night of legendary rock under clear skies.

Thursday and Friday both stay sunny and warm (highs near 85°F), making it an ideal window for golf at courses across Dade County or a morning paddle in Biscayne Bay. The light winds mean calm water conditions—perfect for boating and water sports. If you’re planning to fish the flats near the Everglades, conditions are excellent through Friday.

Here’s the catch: the National Weather Service Area Forecast Discussion notes that smoke from a wildfire in western Miami-Dade County could reduce visibility early this morning well west of the metro area. If you’re heading that direction, be aware and drive with caution.

This is premium grilling weather. Fire up the grill for burgers, steaks, or grilled chicken with corn on the cob. Grab an instant-read meat thermometer and a grill brush and scraper set to nail those perfect sear marks. Need ingredients? You can order groceries on Amazon Fresh and have everything for tonight’s dinner delivered to your door.

Looking ahead: mostly dry conditions continue through Friday with above-normal temperatures. However, the National Weather Service is tracking increased chances of showers and thunderstorms arriving during the second half of the weekend and into early next week, so enjoy this beautiful stretch while it lasts.
